Tina Mene (Serena), soprano, was born in South Africa. She sang the role Mandela’s Mother in African Songbook, Santuzza in Cavallieria rusticana (Mascagni), Anna in Nabucco (Verdi), Erste Dame in Die Zauberflote (Mozart) and the Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas (Purcell). She is a member of the Cape Town Opera Voice of the Nation Studio. This is her Israeli Opera debut.
