Marco Berti was born in Italy. His wide repertoire includes Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti), Rodolfo in La bohème, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Cavaradossi in Tosca, Calaf in Turandot (Puccini), Radames in Aida Manrico in Il trovatore, Macduff in Macbeth, Gabriele Adorno in Simon Boccanegra, the title role in Ernani and in Don Carlo (Verdi), Don Jose in Carmen (Bizet), Enzo in La Gioconda (Ponchielli) and many others. He performs regularly in all leading international opera houses including La Scala in Milan, the Metropolitan in New York, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Arena di Verona, the Vienna Staatsoper and the opera houses of Los Angeles, Munich, Huston, San Francisco, Bilbao, Florence, Paris, Barcelona, Tokyo, Athens and many others. He has many CDs and DVDs to his credit.
