Daniela Barcellona was born in Italy. Her vast opera repertoire includes the title role in Tancredi and in La Cenerentola, Isabella in L'Italiana in Algeri, Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), Leonora in La favorite (Donizetti), Orfeo in Orfeo ed Euridice (Gluck), Adalgisa in Norma (Bellini), Romeo in I Capuleti ed I Montecchi (Bellini) and many others. She performs regularly in all major Italian opera house including La Scala, Pesaro, Milan, Verona, Genova, Florence, Bologna, Rome, Parma, Palermo, Naples. Outside Italy she performs at the Salzburg Festival, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Berlin, Paris, Munich, Vienna, Madrid, Geneva, Marseille, Las Palmas, Amsterdam, Dresden, London and many other opera houses. This is her Israeli Opera debut.
