Carosi Micaela, soprano
Micaela Carosi, soprano, was born in Italy. Her repertoire includes all leading soprano roles in the Verdi repertoire including Leonora in Oberto Conte di San Bonifacio, Amelia in Un ballo in maschera, Desdemona in Otello, the leading role in Aida, Lucrezia in I due Foscari, Abigail in Nabucco, Amelia in Simon Boccanegra, Leonora in La forza del destino, Elisabetta in Don Carlo, Leonora in Il trovatore as well as the leading role in Manon Lescaut, Madama Butterfly and Tosca (Puccini), Madeleine in Andrea Chenier (Giordano), the leading role in Norma (Bellini) and in Adriana Lecouvreur (Cilea) and many others. She regularly performs in La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Vienna Staatsoper and the opera houses of Venice, Paris, Bilbao, San Francisco, Zurich, Turin, Genoa, Valencia, Rome, Montreal, Berlin, Monte Carlo, Japan, Barcelona and many others. This is her Israeli Opera debut.
