Dennis Petersen, tenor, was born in the USA. His opera repertoire of over 100 roles includes Mime in Das Rheingold and in Siegfried (Wagner), Goro in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), the School Master in The Cunning Little vixen (Janacek), Herod in Salome (R. Strauss), the Village Drunkard in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk (Shostakovich), Bob Boles in Peter grimes (Britten), Don Basilio in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart) and many others. He performs regularly at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, New York City Opera and the opera houses of San Francisco Opera, Minnesota, Chicago, Japan, and many others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
