Ji-Min Park, tenor
Ji-Min Park, tenor
was born in South Korea. He joined the Jette Parker Young Artists Program at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in September 2007 and made his Royal Opera debut as Third Esquire in Parsifal (Wagner), followed by Gastone in La traviata (Verdi), Nathanael in Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Offenbach), Pang in Turandot (Puccini) and many other roles. His repertoire includes Don José in Carmen (Bizet), Ferrando in Così fan tutte (Mozart), Ernesto in Don Pasquale (Donizetti), the Duke in Rigoletto (Verdi), Rodolfo in La bohème (Puccini) and other roles. He performs regularly at the ROH as well as in Budapest, Seoul, Toulouse and other opera houses. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
