was born in Russia. He is the chief designer of the Stanislavsky Opera since 1993. He has designed more than 100 operas for the Stansilavsky and other opera houses in Russia and abroad including Boris Godunov (Mussorgsky), May Night (Rimsky-Korsakov), Cosi fan tutte (Mozart), La traviata, Ernani (Verdi), Carmen (Bizet) and many others as well as numerous ballets including Spartacus, Giselle, Swan Lake and others. This is his first work at the Israeli Opera.
