was born in Russia. After graduating from the State Theater Institute (GITIS) she became a director at the Stanislavsky Opera in 1996. Among the operas she directed there are Daphne (De Gagliano), L'elisir d'amore (Donizetti), Madama Butterfly (Puccini) and other productions. She also directed Un ballo in maschera (Verdi) and The Enchantress (Tchaikovsky). This is her first work at the Israeli Opera.
