Svistov Vladimir, baritone
was born in Russia. His repertoire includes Scarpia in Tosca (Puccini), Tonio in Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Varlaam in Boris Godunov (Mussorgsky), Ibn-Hakia in Iolanta (Tchaikovsky), Salieri in Mozart and Salieri (Rimsky-Korsakov), Old Gypsy in Aleko (Rahmaninov), Boris in Katerina Izmailova (Shostakovich), Bartolo in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), Jester in The Tale of Tsar Saltan, Polkan in The Golden Cockerel (Rimsky-Korsakov) and others. He performed in South Korea, France and Italy. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
