Brancoveanu Eugene, baritone
Eugene Brancoveanu (Yeletsky) baritone, was born in Romania. His repertoire includes Marcello in La boheme (Puccini), the title role in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Belcore in L'elisir d'amore (Donizetti), Karnak in Le Roi d'Ys (Lalo), the Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Pandolfe in Cendrillon (Massenet), the Pilot in The Little Prince (Portman), Tarquinius in The Rape of Lucretia (Britten) and many other roles. He performed the role of Marcello in Baz Luhrmann's La boheme on Broadway and appears regularly in the opera houses of San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City Opera, Stuttgart and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
