Valery Kritskov, conductor of the Novaya Opera Theatre, graduated from the Moscow Institute of Culture with a degree in opera and orchestra conducting (Professor Tikhonov\u2019s class) in 1988. He worked for the Helikon-Opera Theatre of Moscow for a long time before joining the Novaya Opera Theatre in 2002. He has also conducted numerous concert programmes including the \u201cBravissimo!\u201d opera mix, the dramatized performance \u201cThis is Opera!\u201d, Ten Sopranos of the Novaya Opera (October 2013), Mezzo-Sopranos at the Novaya Opera (February 2014), \u201cTo Beautiful Ladies!\u201d, a gala concert dedicated to International Women\u2019s Day (March 2014 and 2015).
