Anat Czarny<\/strong>, mezzo soprano, was born in Israel. She graduated from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at the Tel-Aviv. She performed in many recitals and concerts including radio broadcasts throughout Israel. She is a recipient of the Buchmann-Mehta School scholarships and a prize winner of the Buchman Mehta School singing competition as well as the Bercovici and Basser scholarships. She performed as a soloist with the Meitar Ensemble, the Israel Camerata, Barrocada, the Raanana Symphonette Orchestra and the Israel Chamber Orchestra. Her repertoire includes the Second Woman and the First Witch in Dido and Aeneas<\/strong> (Purcell), the title role in Die Lustige Witwe<\/strong> (Lehar), Ruggero in Alcina<\/strong> (Handel) and other roles. Anat Czarny was a member of the Israeli Opera’s Meitar Opera Studio where her repertoire included the title role in La Cenerentola (Rossini), Hansel in Hansel und Gretel <\/strong>(Humperdinck), Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro<\/strong>, Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte<\/strong> (Mozart), Dido in Dido and Aeneas<\/strong> (Purcell), Flora in La traviata<\/strong> (Verdi) and other roles. She was also the soloist in Mozart’s Requiem<\/strong> at the Israeli Opera Festival in Akko and in Solomon<\/strong> (Handel) with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra of the Broadcasting Authority. She performed Prince Charming in Cendrillon<\/strong> (Massenet) in Freiburg and Siebel in Faust <\/strong>(Gounod) in St. Gallen.<\/p>\n
