Ira Bartman<\/b> , soprano, was born in Latvia and immigrated to Israel in 1992. She was a member of the Opera Studio of the Israeli Opera and upon graduating from the studio became one of the leading sopranos in the Israeli Opera where she performed many roles in countless performances. She has also appeared in many opera houses around the world including those in Berlin, Rome, Paris, Cagliari, Mannheim, Warsaw, Li\u00e8ge and others in a variety of roles including the title role in Madame Butterfly<\/strong> , Mimi in La Boh\u00e8me<\/strong> (Puccini), the title role in Norma<\/strong> (Bellini), Tatiana in Eugene Onegin<\/strong> , Lisa in Pic Dama<\/strong> (Tchaikovsky) and other roles. She has won scholarships from Serre and Grabov. She also appears as a soloist in concerts with all the orchestras across the country. <\/p>\n
