Graham Wick, director, was born in England. He has directed dozens of opera productions for the world’s leading opera houses including La Scala in Milan, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Mariinsky in St. Petersburg, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and many other opera houses. From 1992 to 2000 he was the principal director of the Glyndebourne Festival. He has won numerous international awards for his productions as well as honorary degrees and doctorates from universities around the world. In 2009 he was awarded the title of Commander of the British Empire by the Kingdom of Great Britain. He has produced many community projects to bring opera to all parts of the UK. At the Israeli Opera he directed Don Giovanni (Mozart).
