Born in New Zealand. Among the many roles she has performed are Sigruna and Floshilde in The Ring of the Nibelung (Wagner), the title role in Carmen (Bizet), Tissaba in La Cenerentola (Rossini), Oberto in Alcina (Handel), Cherubino in The Marriage of Figaro (Mozart), and more. She has performed, among others, at the State Opera La Monet in Brussels, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Wexford Festival, the Bayreuth Festival, the Spoleto Festival, and the opera houses of Stuttgart, Philadelphia, Adelaide, Australia, and New Zealand.
