Pavel Petrov, tenor, was born in Belarus. His repertoire includes the Duke in Rigoletto, Alfredo in La traviata (Verdi), Ferrando in Allegro, Tamino in The Magic Flute, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Lensky in Eugene Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Nemorino in I L’Amore (Donizetti), and more. He appears at the Vienna State Opera, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, and the opera houses of Miami, Lausanne, Paris, Dresden, Palermo, Graz, Bregenz, Hong Kong, Savona, Verona, Salzburg, and more. This is his debut at the Israeli Opera.
