Nathan Gunn, baritone, was born in the USA. His repertoire includes the title role in Billy Budd, Tarquinius in The Rape of Lucretia (Britten), the title role in Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky) and in Hamlet (Thomas), Guglielmo in Cosi fan tutte, the Count in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Malatesta in Don Pasquale, Belcore in L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti), Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), Ottone in L’incoronazione di Poppea (Monteverdi) and others. He also created many roles in contemporary operas and sang in many productions of musicals such as Show Boat, Camelot and Carousel. He performs regularly at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the opera houses of Paris, Munich, Chicago, San Francisco, Vienna, Madrid, Brussels and many others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
