John Matthew Myers, tenor, was born in the USA. His repertoire includes Froh in Das Rheingold (Wagner), Pollione in Norma (Bellini), Cavaradossi in Tosca (Puccini), Don Jose in Carmen (Bizet), the Emperor in Die Frau ohne Schatten (R. Strauss), Mao in Nixon in China (Adams) and others. He performs at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and in the opera houses of Los Angeles, Arizona, Portland, Parma, Santa Fe, Wexford, San Francisco, Venice, Paris and others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
