Medynska Joanna, costume designer

Joanna Medynska, costume designer, was born in Poland. She graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts and also studied at the Accademia delle belle arti in Rome. She is a painter, designer and teacher of the history of costumes. She takes part in group and individual painting exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Her paintings are presented in private collections in Poland, Sweden, Austria, France, Spain, Korea, Argentina and Italy. She has designed costumes for many opera and theatre productions in Poland and abroad including Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Otello (Verdi), King Roger (Szymanowski) and many others.
