Was born in the USA. He was a Resident Assistant Lighting Designer for eight years with the Washington National Opera at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC where he worked on more than 50 productions with design teams from around the world. He has also assisted with other opera companies in the USA including Seattle, San Diego, Pittsburgh, and Portland and with the Royal Opera House in London.
