Born in the United States. She sang the roles of Olga Olsen in Street Scene (Weill), the Aunt in Peter Grimes (Brittany), Tissava in La Cenerentola (Rossini), Cornelia in Julius Caesar (Handel), Galsha in Katya Kabanova (Janacek), Teresa in The Sleeping Beauty (Bellini) and the Turkish Baba in The Fool (Stravinsky). She has performed at the St. Louis Opera House and the Washington National Opera, among others.
