Maximov Vladimir, set designer

Vladimir Maximov, set designer, was born in Russia. He has designed numerous plays for many important Russian companies including A Month in the Country, Dead Souls, Barbarians, Dancing at Lughnasa, The Madwoman of Chailot, Hedda Gabler, The Egyptian Nights, Faust and Elena, M. Butterfly, Othello, Salome, The Mask Maker and many others. He has also worked for theater companies in France and other European countries. His many opera design credits include Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky). He died in 2014. This is his first work presented at the Israeli Opera.
