Manov Johannes, baritone

Was born in Denmark. His wide repertoire includes Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro and Papageno in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Golaud in Pelleas et Melisande (Debussy), Kurwenal in Tristan und Isolde, Wolfram in Tannhauser (Wagner) and Siegfried in Genoveva (Schumann). He performs at the opera houses of Paris, Denmark, Athens, Seattle, Brussels, Berlin and others. At the Israeli Opera he sang the title role in Billy Budd (Britten) and Jesus in a staged performance of St. Matthew’s Passion (Bach).
