Born in the United States. Has sung regularly at the opera houses of Vienna, London, Stuttgart, Berlin, Munich, Milan, Hamburg and Florence. Her repertoire includes, above all, roles in Verdi operas, including Leonora in Il Forte di Fate , Odella in Attila , Lucrezia in The Two Fusci, the title role in Luisa Miller and Aida and Giselle in The Lombards . Other roles include the title role in Madame Butterfly (Puccini) and Leo in Turandot (Puccini). She sang Leonora in Il Trovatore (Verdi) with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
