Ethel Ioshpa, set and costume designer

Ethel Ioshpa, set and costume designer, was born in Russia. She has designed the sets for Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart) as well as many video clips, the Live Nature art project as part of the Night at the Museum event at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the play 2X2=4 and many other projects. She won a Grand Prix for designing the Russian pavilion at the Prague Quadrennial International Exhibition of Scenography and Theatre Architecture. She also works as a theatre actress. This is her first work at the Israeli Opera.
