As director, set and costume designer he has staged more then 60 productions including La rondine, Tosca, Manon Lescaut and Turandot (Puccini), Il trovatore, Rigoletto, Aida and La forza del destino (Verdi), Mosי, Ermione and Semiramide (Rossini),Werther and Le Cid (Massenet), Samson et Dalila (Saint-Saens) and Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Offenbach). He has staged his productions in theaters such as the Colעn in Buenos Aires, Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, the Liceo in Barcelona, Teatro Real in Madrid, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and La Scala. At the Israeli Opera he directed and designed Tosca and Turandot (Puccini) at the Opera Festival in Caesarea.
