Danon Noa, soprano

Noa Danon, soprano, was born in Israel. She is a graduate of the Israeli Opera’s Opera Studio. She received the Basser scholarship. Since 2009/10 she is the leading soprano of the Magdeburg Opera House where her numerous roles include Margurite in Faust (Gounod), Sieglinde in Die Walkure (Wagner), the title role in Vanessa (Barber), the title role in Katya Kabanova (Janacek), the Duchess in Powder her Face (Ades), Marietta in Die tote Stadt (Korngold), Chrysothemis in Elektra (R. Strauss), Antonia in Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Offenbach), Don Clara in Der Zwerg (Zemlinsky), Elisabetta in Maria Stuarda (Donizetti), Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), the Governess in The Turn of the Screw (Britten), the Countess in Le nozze di Figaro, Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Micaela in Carmen (Bizet), Elisabetta in Don Carlo (Verdi), the title role in Madama Butterfly, Mimi in La boheme (Puccini) and many others.
