Francesco Ivan Ciampa was born in Italy. He has conducted a vast number of opera productions including La boheme, Turandot, Gianni Schicchi, Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Don Giovanni (Mozart), Lucia di Lammermoor, L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti), Rigoletto, Aida, Nabucco, Un ballo in maschera, La traviata, Attila (Verdi), Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Carmen (Bizet) and many others. He has conducted at the opera houses of Paris, Parma, Torre de Lago, Ancona, Modena, Bilbao and others.
