Vladimir Brown , bass-baritone, was born in Russia and immigrated to Israel. He has sung over 60 principal roles in opera houses in the former Soviet Union. Since immigrating to Israel, he has performed regularly in concerts with all the leading orchestras in the country, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Zubin Mehta, the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion, the Raanana Symphonist Orchestra, and the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra of the Israel Broadcasting Authority. Since his debut at the Israeli Opera in 1991 as Germont in La Traviata (Verdi), he has performed over 80 roles in over 100 productions at the Israeli Opera.
