Ben Seadia Omer, director

Omer Ben Seadia, director, was born in Israel. She has directed several contemporary operas including The Snowy Day (Joel Thompson) at the Houston Grand Opera, Steal a Pencil for Me (Gerald Cohen) at Opera Colorado, Thumbprint (Kamala Sankaram) at Chautauqua and Portland Opera as well as Carmen (Bizet), Ariadne auf Naxos, Elektra (R. Strauss), Tosca (Puccini), Agrippina, Atalanta, Ariodante, Rodelinda (Handel), Die Zauberflöte, Idomeneo, (Mozart), Die lustige Witwe (Lehar), Rigoletto (Verdi), Faust (Gounod) and others at the opera houses of Toronto, Cincinnati, Utah, Calgary, St. Louis and others. She was assistant director in many Israeli Opera productions.
