    Radzion Karina, mezzo-soprano

    Karina Radzion, mezzo soprano, was born in Russia. Before immigrating to Israel she won several competitions and performed in the national television of Russia. She graduated from the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance. Her operatic repertoire includes Suzuki in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Maddalena in Rigoletto (Verdi), Mrs. Todd in The Old Maid and the Thief (Menotti), Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Bavolet in La Jolie Parfumeuse (Offenbach) and others. She received the Leon Nacht scholarship. Karina Radzion is a member of the Israeli Opera's Meitar Opera Studio where her repertoire includes the Third Lady in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), the Witch in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck), the Badessa and La maestra delle novizie in Suor Angelica (Puccini), Enchanted Planet, Monster and Shepard in La liberazione di Ruggiero (Francesca Caccini) and more.
