Castaingt Laurent, Lighting Designer
Laurent Castaingt was born in France. He has designed many theatre and opera productions including Cavalleria rusticana (Mascagni), Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Un ballo in maschera, Ernani (Verdi), Tannhauser (Wagner), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Britten), A Postcard from Morocco (Argento), Salome (R. Strauss), Giulio Cesare in Egitto (Handel) and others. He has worked in the opera houses of Monte Carlo, Hong Kong, Naples, Bordeaux, Lausanne, Liege, Vienna, Paris and others. This is his first work for the Israeli Opera.
