The Israeli Opera organizes annual summer opera workshops for children (aged 6-10). During the two-week workshop, the children (no more than 25 in a group) basical opera singing and also participate in numerous artistic activities such as acting, dancing, stage combat, set and costume making, playing musical instruments etc. They also find out about the backstage secrets of the opera world. At the end of the workshop the children present a short operatic performance to their parents and friends.
