Vicente Ombuena, tenor, was born in Spain. His vast repertoire includes the Duke in Rigoletto, Alfredo in La traviata, Ismaele in Nabucco (Verdi), Rodolfo in La boheme, Pong in Turandot, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Leicester in Maria Stuarda, Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti) and many others. He performs regularly at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the opera houses of Vienna, Naples, Toronto, Dresden, Rome, Paris, Copenhagen, Berlin, Amsterdam, Turin, Hamburg, Madrid, Valencia, Malaga, Seville, Las Palmas and others. At the Israeli Opera he sang many roles including Alfred in die Fledermaus (J.
