For close to 12 years, the Israeli Opera has been performing community productions in cities all over Israel, from Ashkelon in the south to Tiberias in the north. And in each such production hundreds of members of each community were the major stars on the stage, performing in tandem with several Israeli Opera soloists after a prolonged process of rehearsals in their own community.
Now to celebrate the ongoing community activity of the Israeli Opera, the current community production of Rossini's Cinderella (in Hebrew) will be presented for one night only on the stage of the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv.
Scores of performers (dancers, actors, singers and musicians) from Netivot in the south and Tirat Hacarmel in the north will join forces and perform on the stage of the Israeli Opera with soloists of the Israeli Opera and the Raanana Symphonette Orchestra.
July 28 at the Opera House – your opportunity to savor the special aroma of a community production in which the real stars are members of the community!|
