Israeli Opera Soloists Participate in Good Deeds Day

As part of its ongoing involvement in societal trends around Israel, the Israeli Opera joined for the second year the initiative of the Good Deeds Day (April 5) which was organized by the Ruach Tova Association of the Arison Group. As part of the numerous volenteer oriented events which took place during this day throughout Israel, four singers and a pianist of the Israeli Opera arrived at four cities where they presented an opera concert for the community. The concerts took place in Turaan (in front of 200 school children), Shefaram (100 adolescents), Afula (100 children and 100 adults) and Beit Shean (100 adults). The Israeli Opera's participation in the Good Deeds Day emphasizes the societal commitment of the Israeli Opera who is giving to the community on a regular basis and maintains ongoing outreach activities in periphery communities whose citizens do not reach the opera house in Tel Aviv.
