The Trout that Swims and Sings
The Childhood of Franz Schubert
Every musician in Vienna was impressed with the musical talent of little Franz but his father, the headmaster, insisted that his son will become a teacher. Schubert, who as a child lived in poverty and was always hungry, joined the famous Vienna Boys Choir and composed hundreds of songs, like the Trout, and other charming works. Humor and a touch of magic in a program performed by a string quartet, a singer, a pianist and dancers.
