Bronikowski Marcin, baritone
Was born in Poland. He studied voice in his home land and in Bulgaria and made his debut in the title role in Il barbiere die Siviglia (Rossini) in Sofia which he has since performed in numerous opera houses including at the Israeli Opera. Since then he has won numerous awards in prestigious singing competitions and has performed regularly with opera companies and symphony orchestras all over the world. His vast operatic repertoire includes the title role in Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Germont in La traviata, Renato in Un ballo in maschera (Verdi), Escamillo in Carmen (Bizet), Albert in Werther (Massenet), Valentin in Faust (Gounod), Dandini in La Cenerentola (Rossini), Sharpless in Madama Butterfly, Marcello in La boheme, Lescaut in Manon Lescaut (Puccini), Papageno in Die Zauberflote, the Count in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Lescaut in Manon (Massenet), Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor, Malatesta in Don Pasquale, Belcore in L'elisir d'amore (Donizetti) and many others. He has performed at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden as well as in the opera houses on Bilbao, Salzburg, San Sebastian, Macao, Athens, Dresden, Frankfurt, Bregenz, Nice, Miami, Australia, Trieste Hamburg, Bologna, Koln, Venice and many others. His concert repertoire includes works by Orff, Martin, Schubert, Handel, Mahler and many other composers.
