Steckler Yishai, conductor

Yishai Steckler is the Chorus Master of the Israeli Opera Chorus. He studied voice and conducting at the Tel Aviv Rubin Academy of Music and at the Royal College of Music in London. He conducts regularly with most leading Israeli orchestras including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon- LeZion, the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the Israel Sinfonietta Be'er-Sheva, the Israel Camerata Jerusalem and the Ra'anana Symphonette. He is a recipient of scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, the Wingate Foundation in London, the AVI Foundation in Geneva and the winner of the Gary Bertini prize for a young Israeli conductor for the years 2006-2007.
