American bass-baritone Peter Strummer performs regularly with opera companies and symphony orchestras all over the world. He performs regularly with the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Seattle Opera, Washington Opera, Dallas Opera, New York City Opera, L'Opéra de Montréal, Canadian Opera Company and numerous opera houses in Germany and Austria. 
Hi wide operatic repertoire includes Don Magnifico in La Cenerentola (Rossini), the title role in Don Pasquale (Donizetti), Beckmesser in Die Meistersinger von Nuremberg (Wagner), Alberich in Der Ring des Nibelungen (Wagner), Klingsor in Parsifal (Wagner), Pizarro in Fidelio (Beethoven), the Sacristan in Tosca (Puccini), Bartolo in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Bartolo in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), Mustafa in L'Italiana in Algeri (Rossini), Sulpice in La Fille du Regiment (Donizetti), Dansker in Billy Budd (Britten), Dulcamara in L'elisir d'amore (Donizetti), Leporello in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Melitone in La forza del destino (Verdi) and many other roles. He also has a wide concert repertoire.
Among the conductors with whom he has performed are Maurizio Arena, Marco Armiliato, Carlo Felice Cillario, Jacques Delacôte, Plácido Domingo, Mark Elder,
