Zohar Tamar, mezzo-soprano

Was born in Georgia. In Tbilsi she sang Olga in Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky) and numerous Verdi roles including Amneris in Aida and Azucena in Il trovatore. At the Israeli Opera she performed Hata in The Bartered Bride (Smetana), La Contessa de Coigny in Andrea Chénier (Giordano) and Larina in Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky).
