Klevan Anastasia, soprano


Anastasia Klevan, soprano was born in the Ukraine. She was a member of the Israeli Opera's Opera Studio where her repertoire included Gretel in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdick), Erste Dame in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Euridice in Orfeo ed Euridice (Gluck) as well as Belinda in Dido and Aeneas (Purcell) including in Stuttgart and the Countess in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart) with the Haifa Symphony Orchestra. Her repertoire includes Donan Anna in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Tatyana in Yevegeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky), the Infanta in Der Zwerg (Zemlinsky) and other roles. She received the Grabov, Basser, Silverman, Harbour, AICF and other scholarships and awards. Her many roles at the Israeli Opera include Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi (Puccini), Marzelline in Fidelio (Beethoven), Sidonie in Armide (Gluck), Najade in Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss), Giannetta in L'elisir d'amore (Donizetti) in the Israeli Oepra tour to the Deutsche Oper Berlin and Erste Dame in the community production of Die Zauberflote (Mozart).
