Ettinger Dan, conductor

Was born in Israel. He is the Music Director of the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion and is serving as Conductor in Residence and assistant to Daniel Barenboim at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin. He has served as the Chief Guest Conductor of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, IBA and as Conductor in Residence at the Israeli Opera. As an opera conductor he has conducted, among others, Turandot, La bohème, Madama Butterfly, Tosca (Puccini), La traviata, Aida, Rigoletto, Falstaff (Verdi), Die Zauberflöte, Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni (Mozart), Carmen (Bizet), Tannhauser (Wagner) and L'elisir d'amore (Donizetti). He appeared in the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, the New National Theater Tokyo, the Los Angeles Opera, the Bavarian Staatsoper in Munich, the Hamburg Opera and Opera North.
