Danon Noa, soprano


Noa Danon, soprano, was born in Israel. She is a graduate of the Israeli Opera's Opera Studio. Since the 2009/10 season Danon is a member of the ensemble at the Magdeburg Theatre in Germany, where she performed Antonia in Les contes d'Hoffmann (Offenbach), Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Agathe in Der Freischütz (Weber), the Governess in The Turn of the Screw (Britten), Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Micaela in Carmen (Bizet) and Venus in Orpheus in der Unterwelt (Offenbach). Recently she sang Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni (Mozart) in  Hagen and Bernstein's Kaddish with the Bochumer Symphoniker. At the Israeli Opera she performed Micaela in Carmen (Bizet), Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Gianetta in L'elisir d'amore (Donizetti), Tisbe in La Cenerentola (Rossini) and other roles.
