Laura Claycomb, soprano, was born in the USA. Her wide repertoire includes the title role in Linda di Chamounix (Donizetti), Giulietta in I Capuleti e I Montecchi (Bellini), Cleopatra in Gulio Cesare in Egitto, Morgana in Alcina, Ginerva in Ariodante (Handel), Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss), Ophelie in Hamlet (Thomas), Cunegonde in Candide (Bernstein), Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Britten) and many others. She performs at La Scala in Milan, the Salzburg Festival and the opera houses of Geneva, Paris, Los Angeles, Munich, Houston, Toronto, Salerno, San Francisco, Santa Fe and many others. At the Israeli Opera she has performed Gilda in Rigoletto (Verdi) and the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti).
