Marisol Montalvo, soprano, was born in the USA. Her repertoire includes the title role in Lulu (Berg), Chiang Ch’ing in Nixon in China (Adams), the Princess in L'enfant et les sortileges (Ravel), Esmeralda in The Bartered Bride (Smetana), Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier (R. Strauss), Oscar in Un ballo in maschera, Gilda in Rigoletto (Verdi), Monica in The Medium (Menotti), Woglinde and the Third Norn in Götterdämmerung (Wagner), Blondchen in Die Entführung aus dem Serail (Mozart), Bella in Paganini (Lehar), the title role in Dinorah (Meyerbeer) and many others. She performed at the opera houses of Paris, Berlin, Seville, Toulouse, Basel, Toronto, Madrid, Barcelona, Zurich, Monte Carlo, Nancy and others. This is her Israeli Opera debut.
