Susannah Haberfeld, mezzo soprano, was born in England. Her repertoire includes The Dritte Dame in die Zauberflote (Mozart), Mercedes in Carmen (Bizet), Nerone in Gulio Cesare in Egitto (Handel), Clomiri in Imeneo (Handel), Orlovsky in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Dalila in Samson et Dalila (Saint-Saens), Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Hansel in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Olga in Yevgeni Onegin (Tchaikovsky) and many contemporary operas. She also works as a theatre and opera director specializing in social projects. She performed at the opera houses of Aix en Provence, Rouen, Caen, Padova, Lisbon, Nancy, Bern, Dublin, Luzern, Halle and others. At the Israeli Opera she performed the role of Begbick in Aufsteig und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny (Weill), in 2012.
