Roberto Frontali, baritone, was born in Italy. His wide repertoire includes Posa in Don Carlo, the title role in Falstaff, Carlo in Ernani, Di Luna in Il trovatore, the title role in Simon Boccanegra, Renato in Un ballo in maschera, Carlo in La forza del destino, Miller in Luisa Miller, the title role in Rigoletto (Verdi), Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), the title role in Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky), Jack Rance in La fanciulla del West, Michele in Il tabarro, the title role in Gianni Schicchi (Puccini) and many other roles. He performs regularly at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, La Scala in Milan, the Vienna Staatsoper, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden as well as the opera houses in Pesaro, Rome, Geneva, Tokyo, Nice, Venice, Dresden, Cagliari, Madrid, San Francisco, Palermo, Turin, Santiago di Chile, Moscow, Florence, Bologna, San Diego and many others. This is his Israeli Opera debut.
