was born in Italy. His wide repertoire includes almost all Verdi baritone roles including Renato in Un ballo in maschera, Germont in La traviata, Di Luna in Il trovatore, Amonasro in Aida, the title role in Rigoletto, Simon Boccanegra and in Macbeth, Don Carlo in La forza del destino, Rodrigo in Don Carlo, Miller in Luisa Miller, Francesco in I masnadieri,  Iago in Otello, as well as Alfio in Cavalleria rusticana (Mascagni), Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), Valentin in Faust (Gounod), Gerard in Andrea Chenier (Giordano), Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti), Sharpless in Madama Butterfly, Scarpia in Tosca (Puccini), Tonio in Pagliacci (Leoncavallo) and many others. He performs regularly in the opera houses of La Scala, Parma, Arena di Verona, Roma, Turin, Venice, Genova, Bologna, Trieste, Florence, Vienna Staatsoper, Berlin, Teatro Real in Madrid, Zurich, Athens, Montreal, Las Palmas, Tokyo, Barcelona and many others. In the Israeli Opera he preformed the lead role at Nabbuco at Masada (Verdi).
