Scoglio Luigi, set designer

was born in Switzerland. He studied in Messina and in Urbino. He mainly works currently as a set designer. He works with directors such as Luca Ronconi, Michal Znaniecki, Mario Corradi, Rose Cheats, Italo Nunziata, Fabrizio Crisafulli, Anne Riitte Ciccone, Denis Krief, Patricia Panton, George Rossi, Paul De Bends and others. He has designed sets for productions at the opera houses and theatre companies all over Italy including Rome, Milan, Ferrara, Trapani, Bologna, Modena, Treviso, Perugia, Gubbio, Montepulciano, Jesi, Parma, Sassari, Taranto, Brescia, Como, Pavia, Cremona, Conegliano Veneto, Barga and others as well as in Switzerland, France, Spain, Austria and Poland. Among the productions he designed are Duke Bluebeard's Castle (Bartok), Rigoletto (Verdi), L'Italiana in Algeri (Rossini), Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti), Otello, Il trovatore (Verdi) and others. This is his first work for the Israeli Opera.
